Talbots- classicly preppy

My mom likes Talbots and so do I- and I have for many years.

While some stuff is a little "old" for me and other young (or much younger) preps, they have some nautical/heart/generally preppy pieces that I will wear and have worn for years.
Plus, there's almost always a discount or promo, which is a bonus.

Here are some of the things that I am currently coveting:



Hearts Fair Isle Sweater- so 80's grown up, which I love!




Platinum Jersey Heart Dress- obviously!

Heart Chambray Belt

Down-By-The-Sea Sweater- a bit much even for me- or is it?

Breakwater Wash Boyfriend Jeans- always looking for the perfect pair

Waffle-Terry Cocoon Cardigan- this blue is so pretty for spring/summer

Roxy Pebbled Leather Scrunchy Ballet Flats- may need to replace my Tory ones and these are a lot more affordable.

Classic Rain Coat- with striped lining, including striped roll up sleeves and striped hood!
I am fortunate enough to live near Hingham, Talbots' HQ.  They have an outlet there, and it is not like the outlets in chains.  The discounts are insane, and if you are patient, you can get things from last season at amazing discounts. 

I stopped by and picked up a few things- at 40-75% off.

Belts -$2.99 each

Socks - $5.40

Shoes - $20

Shirt - $13.75- you can roll the sleeves up or leave them down.

Total = $48.12

This is not at all a political or religious blog.  I am so heartbroken about what happened in Paris.  The policeman who was killed on the street pleading for his life was Muslim and my age.  The whole thing guts me.
