When my college friend messaged me that she and her family were coming to the Cape from NY and that they were day tripping to Chatham, I had to take a day off of meet them. Karen and her husband, Al, are one of my favorite couples, and there three children are adorable and so sweet.
I met them in town, and the girls hit the shops while the boys played in the park.
Before we split up, we hit the Candy Manor.

If I get a big house....
After saying goodbye to the family, I headed to the lighthouse/beach area.
The lighthouse was closed, so I headed to the beach.What a view!Had to head down!
Sadly, my phone died and the incredible walk that I took was not captured. Such a shame- it was magical.
After a super long beach walk, I headed to the fish pier to grab fish for dinner.
I could almost reach out and touch this gull!

Time for fresh fish.
And homemade lobster bisque!
Back at home, I settled down with a good summer movie. And a homemade, healthy meal of fish and vegetables!
I wish every day was like this!!
