Monday, August 22 at 8:00 a.m. is the date and time for the summer Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale. This event, which happens twice a year is the time for preps for gather all electronic devices and try to nab their favorite Lilly picks.
To say that it is super stressful is an understatement. Things disappear from shopping bags, sometimes you don't get what you think you are confirmed for and, if you haven't prepared by choosing your absolute top items plus some that you'd be happy with, you will be screwed. I have gotten a few great deals, but I have also left several times with nothing.
A few tips:
- Use the App- it is usually faster and actually doesn't crash as frequently
- Sign in before the sale starts
- Use multiple devices/computers
- If you just want one or two things and can actually get them, check out right away. You will then get bumped back into the queue, but it's better than getting nothing!
- Don't buy it if you weren't planning to buy it/don't need it- so easy to fall victim to this, but don't because
- CHECK YOUR LOCAL STORE or call one that has a website- a lot of times, they have a sale for these day days AND SOME HONOR LILLY SALE PRICES!!
